These are from 2007. Chandigarh, in the north of India. A city full of buildings designed by Le Corbusier in the 1950's. Ive been looking back through boxes of old images. Discovering new favorites.
these are really stunning. love seeing things rediscovered that may be old and forgotten elsewhere. re-lit my fire to want to go to india again, though that fire has been burning for a looooong time.
Le Corbusier was an architect with some interesting ideas. I had no idea he had worked in Asia, too. It's interesting how ambivalent his image is in media today.
